On the Saturday following Thanksgiving, November 30th, you won’t want to miss near by Ocean Isle Beach’s very own Super Saturday: Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting. It starts with the Christmas Parade on Saturday, followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and then Christmas Boat Flotilla and wrapping up with a big party at Sharky’s ending the super day that evening.
Residents and businesses decorate their golf carts and other vehicles for the annual Christmas Parade that starts on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. At 5 p.m. the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Causeway, on the mainland side of the bridge, across the street from the Fire Department begins. Bring your Christmas spirit and your best singing voice because this is where we get together for some caroling. Following this is the 9th Annual Christmas Flotilla and Party.
